Join us as we honor the outstanding accomplishments of the Maryland lodging industry’s brightest Stars. All nominees will be introduced and presented with a Certificate of Nomination during the event. Individual winners will be announced and presented with an engraved plaque and prizes. All attendees will be eligible for door prizes at the event!
Prior to the luncheon, Allied Members will showcase a wide range of products and services for the lodging industry at the Tabletop Trade Show. Plan to arrive early and see all that they have to offer.

We invite our Allied Members to participate in four ways:
1. As an Allied Member, we invite you to participate in the Tabletop Trade Show beginning at 10:00 a.m. (March 4, 2014) and ending at 12:00 p.m. when the awards presentation/luncheon begins. Participation in this trade show is at no charge to either the Allied Members or the hoteliers. (There is, however, a fee to attend the luncheon.) Set-up begins at 9:15 a.m. and tables must be set by 9:45 a.m. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis with priority given to Annual Partners and award sponsors. The “Stars” Luncheon generates a large turnout, and we encourage all the Hotel General Managers to attend and bring department heads as well as anyone nominated for an award, so you will have access to many of the decision-makers at the properties.
2. We ask you to sponsor one of the Awards. As a sponsor, you will be invited to come to the stage and help present the award to the winner. You will be recognized verbally, in print and on the screen during the event. Sponsors also get priority space at the trade show and receive a list of attendees. Your sponsorship will help recognize those who deserve to be, but are rarely in the spotlight.
3. Consider donating an item valued at $100 or more, which may be used as a door prize for attendees at the luncheon, or included in the prize for award winners. All prizes will be announced during the luncheon and donors will be recognized verbally, in print and on the screen during the event. You may bring donations with you on the day of the event, or certificates may be enclosed with your registration form. Larger items may be shipped directly to the winner. MH&LA must receive a description of the item to be donated by February 21, 2014 to ensure recognition in the program.
4. Join us at the luncheon. Allied members are encouraged to register, but attendance at the luncheon is not required in order to participate in the Trade Show.
