POST LABOR DAY SCHOOL START PETITION IS AVAILABLE ONLINE
To access the online version of the petition to affirm public support for a post Labor Day school start for Maryland public schools click here. The goal of the petition drive is a minimum of 10,000 signature from across Maryland prior to the start of the next General Assembly session in January 2015.

HORSESHOE CASINO BALTIMORE OPENS ON SCHEDULE AND WITH LARGE CROWDS
15,000 people attended the grand opening last week, 5,000 more than anticipated. The new casino which is now open 24 hours year round, has 2,500 slots machines, 100 table games in a World Series of Poker® room, and signature restaurants from celebrity chefs Guy Fieri, Aaron Sanchez and John Besh.


LOWER EASTERN SHORE TOURISM AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ROUNDTABLE RECAP
