BAN THE BOX UPDATE
A bill has been introduced in the Montgomery County Council prohibiting employers from using a check box on job applications for applicants to disclose a criminal record and prohibiting questions about a criminal history until a conditional job offer has been made. Baltimore City recently approved a similar law.

BALTIMORE GETS INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
Fodor’s Travel, one of the world’s premier travel guides has included Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on their list of top waterfront cities in the world. Baltimore is one of only three U.S. cities that made the list. The other U.S. cities were New Orleans and San Francisco. The top destination on the list was Venice.
