CASINO REVENUE IS UP STATEWIDE AND UP AT THREE OF FOUR CASINOS
Total Maryland casino revenue was $75.9 million last month, an increase of 9.7% over July of last year. July revenue was up 11% at Maryland Live! Casino, up 10% at Ocean Downs Casino, up 20% at Rocky Gap Casino and unchanged at Hollywood Casino.

VISIT BALTIMORE BOARD CHAIR ANNOUNCES PRIORITIES
A replacement for the Baltimore Arena and an expanded convention center are the top priorities of John Frisch, the new Board Chair at Visit Baltimore. Frisch is also a Board member at the Greater Baltimore Committee and served for five years as Chair of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.


COLLEGE PARK HOTEL/CONFERENCE CENTER APPROVAL IS ON A FAST TRACK
The College Park City Council will review plans this week for the 519,900-square-foot complex that includes a 276 room hotel with two ballrooms, restaurants and a high-end spa. The project developers expect a fall 2016 opening based on expectations for an expedited approval process at the County.
